Actress and Graphic Designer Creates Unique Handcrafted Fine Jewelry

Greenwich, CT September 21, 2004 -- What woman doesn't crave for a unique, special find? That is what JL Designs is focused on, providing women that unique piece of jewelry they have always desired.

Created by Janis Lozano in the Summer of 1999, JL Designs has become one of the most successful online boutiques, grabbing the attention of consumers as well as, celebrities, their stylists, magazines, boutiques and other DIY's (do-it-your-self) types. Janis majored in Visual Arts / Graphic Design and Photography with a minor in Theater. Jewelry designing didn't come until later, but Janis felt this was something she was meant to do the moment she made her first pair of earrings. After receiving so many compliments from friends and strangers, she started giving starting her own business a thought. Eventually, after enough encouragement from others, she decided to start designing for the public.

I figured this would allow me to have more flexibility in my schedule, to go to auditions. Never in a million years did I think that it would develop the way it has. The jewelry JL Designs creates, is handcrafted with Sterling Silver, 14K Gold, Swarovski Crystals and Semi-Precious stones. It has been seen on Pop Singer Jessica Simpson, the WB's hit shows "One Tree Hill" & "Dawson's Creek" and on MTV.
